Putting a house together

When we left Springfield, we only took our personal belongings, ´nick-nacks' and artwork with us. It took 3 suitcases, 2 trolleys and 2 backpacks.
We didn´t have very special furniture so to rent a container and ship everything sounded a bit over the top to us because it costs + $10.000,- 
The only thing that was present in the house when we arrived was a bed so we could sleep.
Furniture, pottery, plates, linen... EVERYTHNG you need in a house we had to buy. We thought it was cool to start from scratch with the two of us, hubby started over a couple of times and so did I but never of course together. All walls still need to be painted but I will start that late fall or early winter.
The last weeks in Springfield were so busy with getting the house ready to sell that I now don't have the energy to start another big chore.
Its a big adjustment for hubby and he is doing SO well, learning the language is the next step.

We live here for almost 4 weeks and we got a lot of ducks in a row. The living is lacking a lamp and a chair, we didn't see anything so far that jumped at us.
I'll share some pictures of our house although our walls are not filled yet due to a mishap at FedEx and the oil paintings are not yet back from the framer.
The big dining room table we ordered will come September 12, on my birthday and it will be the center of our house!

On the first floor, the house has a living and open kitchen, a bathroom and restroom. 
On the second floor there are three bedrooms, one we use as an office and music room, the other one is the guestroom.
The backyard will look awesome after I did a lot of pruning, removing old and putting in new plants. That will happen in October because that's the best time of year for it.

I am curious what you think and perhaps you have some cool ideas seeing our place.
